An exceedingly satisfying day of domesticity: we cleaned all day — and I mean ALL DAY — then pruned the garden and fridge, and a perfect dinner coalesced. Maintaining harmony in a large space with many moving parts (and people) is time-comsuming and gratifying. The ease with which one dispels with cerebral concerns is wonderful, albeit disarming. Feminism rarely runs through me, but let me just say: Career-housewives, I had no idea. ALM.
